GEC play the music of English artist/songwriter Steve Ansell. Lyrical  Acoustic roots music blending  eclectic instrumentation and harmonies with Steve's driving guitar. 

The band  have performed across the UK at festivals and venues finding friends whereever they go.

The band are professional, efficient and a pleasure to work with. 

Bookings

We are a six piece band but also perform as a lean trio. As well as traditional venues and festivals we're also interested in performing in less obvious performance spaces and settings. We are also interested in bespoke projects or commissions so drop us an email if you have an unusual or interesting project.

Projects/Commissions 

Steve Ansell & Good Earth Collective have created a number of cross platform projects including the sing cycles 'Nine Postcards' and the  'The River Flows' for the Holmfirth Arts Festival. and Screaming Media Productions.  These projects combine music, story telling, video and live performance.

workshops/Residencies

We provide interactive tailored stand alone workshops for suitable for all ages/experience including P.Uke, an interactive Punk Ukulele workshop, 'Nothing Rhymes with Orange' a collaborative songwriting/performance workshop and tailored workshops for children.
